Some drunk white teens come onto the property of a black man seeking out his son, and one of the teens gets shot. Trying to judge the man's level of perceived threat? On HIS property?! I don't know. I just would never fuck with a man's property 'cause you never know what's going to happen.

Ditto. By the same token, I would never leave the house with a loaded weapon unless I'm not only prepared to use it but deal with the consequences. However you cut it, White killed a boy and he will have to pay. He should have just called 911 and let the police deal with the drunken, threatening trespasser.

Where are all the civil rights leaders at? They should be holding press confrences and marching down the killers street protesting a racially motivated crime. Oops, I forgot it was a black man that shot a white teen and not the other way around.

OK so he is found guilty. for those in other states:in NY you can not use deadly force on a person on your property unless that person uses or attempts to use deadly force on you first.So if a person breaks into your house and you kill him you better drop a knife next to the body and say he lunged at you. With that, the guy is guilty because the teens did not attack him.
Oh and I don't think there are any white activists. so no protests.
