2008 has started off with a bang when unintentional, self-inflicted gunshot wounds are taken into account.

Let's assemble here the stories of dumbasses who can't seem to be around guns without injuring themselves with their own stupidity. I bet that at the end of this year we will be astounded by how many stories will fit this thread.

I will start the list with my two favorites of 2008, but first something to remember the dumbasses of 2007 by:

It's bad enough he would shoot himself but why in the world would he bring a gun to a school and be playing with it in his car?

ha ha, that happened right here in New Mexico and boy did we all get a giggle out of that one.
