Yet again, another person was arrested at my work place. We get about 2-3 a month. The cops come and cuff 'em and haul them out.

Myself? Never....one speeding ticket in the 33 some odd years I've been driving but never arrested.

No need to 'splain.....unless of course if you want to.[:D]

Three times, but it would have been a few more had I not had some family friends on the local police force. It's a miracle I don't have a criminal record. [B)]

The first two were in Germany while I was in the Army. 1 DWI (who knew .27 was considered drunk? For me that was normal) and 1 assault on a military police officer (the asshole had it coming ... my only regret is that I only had to hit him once).

The third and final one was in '93 and was originally for felony burglary with intent to commit assault. I ended up pleading no contest to unlawful trespass and completed a few court-ordered conditions and got it expunged.

Not so coincidentally, the last one was also the last night I drank and I haven't been arrested since. I'm much more careful now when a "situation" needs to be dealt with.

What is it about Military Personnal, Beer and Aggression always leads to handcuffs, lol! Yes I've been arrested twice both while in the Army and both due to conflicts of interest [B)]in a bar full of locals. So needless to say I was just put on extra duty. Tell you what...both times I was actually happy to see the MPs, because the local Sheriff's department weren't happy about us military folk bustin' up on their locals...[:p][:D]!

<p align="justify">A coupla times as a juvenile[}:)] I got off by paying fines and restitution; no juvie hall or nuthin'. I was an honours student, so I think the correctional officer was kinda surprised at that.

Plastics manufacturing. We hire through a temp agency so we get all of the pedophiles, wife beaters, thieves (even had a murderer...she killed 3 of her kids over the years and blamed it on SIDs) http://www.enquirer.com/editions/2002/0 ... ed_of.html

Some guy walked in during the night (I was there starting up a new job) and he was looking for a certain individual who didn't work here any more. The guy had a pistol under his shirt and down the front of his pants. I told him the guy he was looking for didn't work here anymore so he left with no incident. I called the cops with a description of him and his car. I also stopped some idiot who was trying to grab a female worker and he cut me with his razor knife...a slash across my stomach....no stitches but it was close. Small town USA has it's far share of pieces of shit too.

They've never caught me yet...

Not really arrested, but the one time I did get a ride in a police car was because they picked me and a friend of mine up for drawing on cars with crayons. This was as we were walking home from kindergarten.

But here's a funny story about some of my high school friends. I grew up in a quiet town where the cops tended to overreact to things. For some reason I wasn't with this bunch of friends that night. Anyway, they were driving around bored when they saw some kids a few years younger (8th or 9th grade)hanging around on the sidewalk. It was early November. They stop and one guy gets out, jokingly pulls fingernail clippers out of his pocket, points the nail file at the kids and says, "Hey, you got any Halloween candy or milk money?" The kids tell him no so he gets back in the van and they leave. 20 or 30 minutes later they get pulled over by the cops. The cop orders everyone out of the van, makes them lie face down on the street and cuffs their hands behind their backs. They get hauled into the city jail on suspicion of armed robbery and aggravated assault. The kids had written down the licence number and called the cops. After a few hours in the slammer it was all written off as a joke and a misunderstanding. The funny part is that these guys are the biggest bunch of overachieving straight arrows you could imagine. Two of them are now internet entrepreneur millionaires and one graduated from Johns Hopkins med school. Armed robbery and aggravated assault - Sheesh!

I was one of those good kids with a healthy respect for the law.

But I was stopped for driving under the influence a few times in the 80's. The cops always let me go. That would never happen now days.

As for me, never arrested. Stopped a few times and questioned (minor criminal mischief stuff...nothing major).

Nope. If I was on foot, I could always run faster than the cops I was being chased by. And if I was in a car, I'd toss my hair and inch up my skirt several inches. Worked every time. [:I]

Yes I have but just minor stuff. The one thing I did learn was that you never mouth off to a cop .Right before they locked me up for the night a couple of those men in blue beat me up to "teach me a lesson". [V]

One time I was pulled over in my '74 Duster (the cop said I was speeding.) But we started yakking about the Duster, him asking all kinds of questions about her engine, slant 6, hp, all of that, and he all but professed his awe of cool old muscle cars...and he let me off with barely a warning. It was kind of like he thought [i]what the hell am I doing pulling over a muscle car ?!?[/i]. heh.
