I purchased a record online, and when I got the record and played it, the wrong song was pressed. The label was for a group called Chromium on Infinity Label- instead there was a different song- what is it?

Send A Little Love by Stephen Bishop. He also did the "Animal House" theme, in case you give a damn.

Thanks ... that was driving me nuts. I kept thinking it was some Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods b-side or something.

Your mystery song is "Send a Little Love My Way" by Flyer. The album is called the same (Infinity, 1979). I guess somebody at the Infinity plant was sleeping at the wheel?

P.S. That Chromium album is horrific. Be glad you didn't get it!

Billy Squier! Depends on whether or not you prefer sweet '70s pop or sterile disco, but I think it's worse, yeah. For those who don't already know, Chromium was what Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes were doing before The Buggles. I didn't know The Buggles were behind it when I pulled it out of a dollar bin at the local Goodwill (or Salvation Army--I forgot which), but I guess the song titles should have clued me in as to what it was. Scary, frightfully bad (dare I say, "haunted") Eurodisco. Giorgio Moroder did that stuff so much better.

Now the real question is, which sweet 1979 pop record on the Infinity label would VKRS rather have gotten? "Send a Little Love My Way" or Orleans (thee of the naked, homoerotic covers with excessive nipple touching) and their timeless hit, "Love Takes Time?" I know, talk about a tough decision!
