Don't what it. Just the most heinously awful lowest-common-denominator dreck that the industry could possibly cobble together. But I have to say good for Amy Winehouse to have cleaned up there:
Record of the Year: "Rehab," Amy Winehouse
Song of the Year: "Rehab," Amy Winehous
New Artist: Amy Winehous
Pop Vocal Album: "Back to Black," Amy Winehouse
Female Pop Vocal Performance: "Rehab," Amy Winehouse
Maybe it'll be impetuous to clean herself up. She's got an extraordinary voice. I'd like to see her expand out and do more things. What an implosion currently though, even being denied entry to attend the Grammys.
[oops..."don't watch it"]

Crackhouse won Record of the year (they still make records?) but didn't win album of the year, Herbie Hancock did......for Rockit I think...right?

It would have been great if a guy ran up on stage and ripped that giant rats nest off her head.

Good for Amy [:D] Haven't heard but a few of her songs. She does have an awesome voice and great stage presence. As far as all her personal shit… who fucking cares. Sing on Amy!

I was into Amy when she first came out, although she's got a lot of problems her music & style is so refreshing. One of my favorite things she did was a duet with Paul Weller on Jools Hollands show. Two New Wave legends backing up this generations Dusty Springfield check it out!

heh has the Grammys ever mattered for decades. They seem to give the most unworthy and forgettable records their album of the year. I fully expect Nickleback to win next year over In Rainbow and Chinese Democracy

Kanye and Amy were the big winners. That tells me everything I need to know. Really, who else could have won in a world which celebrates and rewards idiocy and mediocrity? Congrats on your awards ... may any future ones be awarded posthumously. [xx(]

I don't watch it nor did I even go out of my way to see who won. I found out seconds ago as I read through this post.
We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.
