Roger Clemens and Congress
Posted: Wed Feb 13, 2008 2:52 amCatching a bit of this at lunch, all I could think was that I sure as shit would not want to be either Clemens or this seeming rat weasel McNamee right now. Completely putting aside the fact that Congress should have better things to do, it strikes me that this whole is a giant fucking mess of a bunch of liars saying "he said, she said". Who the hell to trust - a complete egomaniacal narcissist who'd do anything to save his reputation or a liar who admits to having perjured himself during is 2001 testimonies. The biggest fool would seem to be George Mitchell whose entire report looks built on the testimony of liars and illegal drug peddlers. WTF?! THIS is what baseball commissioned - a partial story of a few players based on a few liars' testimony. What a total fucking joke.
