Eco-terrorists suspected in multiple mansion fires

Authorities believe early morning fires that destroyed three multimillion dollar Washington state homes could be the work of eco-terrorists.
The area where the houses went up in flames is called the "Street of Dreams" in the northwest Seattle suburb of Woodinville.
The strip of eco-friendly model homes exploded into fire just before dawn.
At least three homes were fully engulfed in flames. Two more were damaged.
A spray-painted sign left at the scene had the initials, "ELF" which stands for Earth Liberation Front, a radical environmental group with a history of arson.
The sign read "Built green? Nope black!" and "McMansions in RCDS r not green".
Explosives were found in other unoccupied homes in the development.
"There were multiple sets and we don't know if they were booby trapped. I'm not letting the crews go in the buildings," said Snohomish County Fire Chief Rick Eastman.
The FBI is now investigating whether ELF is indeed responsible for this fire and is considering the arson a possible act of domestic terrorism.
Authorities believe the group was responsible for a string of arsons between the late 1990's and 2001, including one at the University of Washington.
The luxury homes burned Monday were being used by builders to show off the latest high-end and green housing trends.
Developers say they can't understand why a pro-environmental group would destroy them.
"The environmental part of the house was a passion of mine. I've been doing that now and we've put a lot into this house," said CMI Homes President Grey Lundberg.
Opponents feared the development could pollute a nearby creek that is home to the endangered chinook salmon
