My Disneyland experience

Just back from a trip to the happiest place on earth with the kids. Overall, the sheer joy on the faces of my children was worth every penny and we had a fantastic time.
But...
1) Never get in line behind a solo latino lady...I learned it means that just before you get on the ride, 18 friends and family will show up and jump in line ahead of you.
2) I had to wait in line 20 minutes behind a group of young Christians singing hallelujah songs (badly I might add).
3) Someone stole my kid's stroller. I don't care, it's only a material thing, but Disney security were a bunch of a-holes.

"Fast passes" are a survival must. Save hours waiting in line per day.We had a group of people escorted out of a kingdom for a loner holding places for a dozen others. Only a few could understand the park workers explanation as to why this was unexceptable.Did you ride the "Soarin" ride?

I'm glad you still enjoyed it though and the kids prob don't mind so much.
I lived near it for almost 30 years and would often go to the convention center there for conferences. However, I only went to park once and felt good that I had the experience and wouldn't have to go again! I know that having kids would change my mind about that:-)
As for your three descriptions, they all suck but I would feel that not having to hear the Christian singing would be a good trade-off for the other two.
I mean no offense to anyone's beliefs, but, I think that singing religious songs of any belief in a line of people that you don't know is just rude proselytizing.
How was the weather?
I should disclose one thing - Though I went to Disneyland only once, I graduated from Walt's school. There used to be posters on the walls there of Walt wagging his finger saying, "Get to work!" Maybe that is why I felt compelled to pick up garbage when I went to Dland!

Hmmm, i think these things wont happen if they put up a Disneyland in my country because......
1.) There are no Latinos here..
2.) Christians here dont sing in public unless they are soliciting money
3.) People here will not steal your stroller unless its a Graco. If its a Graco, someone will steal it with your baby on it.
