The other day I was filling up, and while waiting for my tank to fill, I watched at least 3 people pull up to a pump, put in what seemed to be a minimal amount of gas, pay, and be gone before I finished.

I've seen this before, but with the current price of gas, it seems more people are running their cars with next to no fuel in it.

So, what kind of gasser are you?

Usually the full tank. Silent but deadly would be my next pick.[:D]

Always a full tank. If it needs to be done, get it the fuck done and move on. I've never understood idiots who do things like get $10 worth of gas, go to the grocery store every day, or stand in line at the post office to buy 1 fucking stamp.

I tend to put $25 - $30 in at a time, let it run out & repeat the process. I don't drive very far during the week & 3/4 of a tank will last me about a week & a half.

And what about these "price dependent full tank" retards and people who drive across town to save 3 cents/gallon and then sit in line with their car idling?

Or the ones who buy the cheap knockoff low octane shit that destroys their car?

Fucking bunch of Einsteins. Good thing we still have the higher priced places so I can avoid these tools.

Over here (Ohio) we have a grocery store that gives discounts on gas per gallon depending on how much food you buy. I always wait until I have at least $2.50 off per gallon before I use it....so gas costs me about a buck a gallon. I can fill my tank for about $20. In between major fill ups, I'll drop a $20 to get by.

I live just under a mile from where I work and I never go anywhere so a full tank on my Grand Marquis (don't laugh, I got a really good deal on this car) will last me close to a month.

I had a 1986 Nissan Pulsar NX a few years back and I could go almost a month and a half on a tank of gas...I wish I still had that one.

I've always been a full tanker and just slapped it on the Amex. But very recently I started a cash only policy at the pump and while I usually still do the full tank, every now and then I get an almost full tank. Whatever I have in the wallet then and there will have to do. Both my cars cost a good seventy dollars to fill but I drive so infrequently that I find myself filling up only every couple of weeks.

I am a full tanker.

I'm lucky because a full tank will last me almost a month...I don't put a lot of miles on my car (I bike a lot, and live close to work, and since I live right in the middle of my city, I am close to everything.) My car gets very good gas mileage.

But I am one of those who hunts down the cheapest places to buy gas and goes to them always. However, as motors was grumbling about, there is never a line and I never have to sit, "idling", to fill up. If there's a line, I go elsewhere.

I think many people might buy just a bit of gas here and there because they honestly don't have enough $ in their wallet, or they can't deal with a full tank costing $30 or $40 or more dollars in one fillup...there are a lot of people who think that paying $5 or $10 every time is cheaper than paying upwards of $40 or $50. Maybe it's that same mindset where something that is $3.99 "sounds" cheaper than $4.00. Hmm.

Certain gas stations / certain days / times of day the price of gas in Vancouver can drop by 5 cents a litre for an hour or two. I pretty much have it figured out now and plan ahead to be out running errands at times I know prices are down.

Which reminds me of something odd : The Chevron Convenienc store

We had a few ugly incidents in Vancouver where gas attendants chased down people who pumped gas and didn't pay and ended up maimed or killed. So now you have to pay at the pump before filling your tank. Chevron took this to the extreme - late at night the "convenience" store is open but you can't go inside!!! You have to ask for your slurpee and bag of chips through a window, to protect the clerk!!!

A gasoline here costs 47.00 pesos per liter

Diesel about 38.00 pesos per liter.

I have a "owner type jeep" similar to the Mcarthur Type but with modifications. It runs on a would you believe 3K Toyota engine. I usually pay 200pesos. Thats about 3.5liters.

Gasoline stations here are not self service. We have gasoline boys to fill up your car then pay. It seems Filipinos do not trust each other.

There are 3 Oil giants here. Caltex, Petron and Shell. And we have the so called "new players" in the market like Total, Fossil Fuel, and other independent stations.

Damn you people who drive a month on a tank of gas! I get about 2 1/2 - 3 days on a $65.00 tank. I drive a lot...a whole lot.

It really depends on what I ate the night before. If it was let's say ,franks and beans , I'm a full blown gasser.

As far as the truck goes , I usually fill it up.

I'm a full tanker and a two time a weeker, I'm always in my car it seems, funny thing, two times in the last 6 months I drove away from the pump with the pump still in the car. WTF? Distracted, talking on the cell, go into the convenience store, come out and drive away...AAARGH! IDIOT! (no, no gas came spewing out, It was done pumping)
