"Everything you’ve ever been told about Global Warming is probably untrue. This film blows the whistle on the biggest swindle in modern history. We are told that ‘Man Made Global Warming’ is the biggest ever threat to mankind. There is no room for scientific doubt. Well, watch this film and make up your own mind."

Yes, but as a known scientist it would be a bit surprising if an ex-Vice President blinded me with science!

Hmmm. Bad timing for the DVD release:

'No Sun link' to climate change

"UK scientists found there has been no significant link between cosmic rays and cloudiness in the last 20 years...

This is the latest piece of evidence which at the very least puts the cosmic ray theory, developed by Danish scientist Henrik Svensmark at the Danish National Space Center (DNSC), under very heavy pressure.

Dr Svensmark's idea formed a centrepiece of the controversial documentary The Great Global Warming Swindle."

Heh, one article is all it takes to quash this discussion![:D] I wouldn't dismiss solar activity (sunspots, irradiance, etc.) as NOT being implicated in some form. There are interesting correlations that cannot be dismissed out of hand:
http://wattsupwiththat.wordpress.com/20 ... hort-essay

It's actually a very interesting discussion. I love how these arguments are always reduced to "either this or that". What about--god forbid--a combination of factors?!![:0]

I think that WE are definitely a contributor but the amount is arguable. I doubt it's 90% or some absurdly large number. Think about the huge increase in particulates in the atmosphere as a result of emissions that are causing another, less-discussed phenomenon: global dimming (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Global_dimming). Simply put, less sunlight is reaching us. This may even help explain why jet contrails seem to create cloud cover now when they almost never did back in the 1990s.

Nothing wrong with erring on the side of caution but I prefer not to flog myself with "green guilt" and carbon footprinting, especially in light of the uber-hypocrites leading the charge.

Just make sure you send the bomb to the sun at night, otherwise the heat will cause it to explode before it gets there!
