Nude Beach

Posted: Fri May 30, 2008 5:29 amBlack's Beach in San Diego. Age does not do the body any favors and it was kind of like going to Luby's Cafeteria for dinner around 4:30 except everyone is naked.
Posted: Fri May 30, 2008 6:41 amI've lived in Europe and have been to plenty. There are far more people that you don't want to see naked than ones you do, but the select few make it worthwhile. Just make sure you bring sunglasses and a cell phone that takes pics.

I remember about 30 topless women and out of them just ONE could be considered anywhere near "attractive" (proves motors' point!).

When I was 16, one of my friends heard a rumor that there was a nude beach just a mile's walking distance from one of the Jones Beach fields (can't remember which one. Perhaps my fellow Long Islanders remember). Anyway, three us took the walk and it was true. Nude women! Not girls. WOMEN! Yeah...there were some guys there too but, most importantly, there were women. We slowly and nonchalantly walked through their section. No doubt gawking but our overextended eyeballs were covered by sunglasses so it was alright.
Now, it wasn't a huge section of the beach that was reserved for the au natural set and we couldn't just reach the end and turn around. That would take away from the nonchalant way we walked through their section of the beach. We figured we'd have to walk about another 1/4 mile and then turn around to maintain our integrity. There was no one in site past the perceived end of their territory.
Just when we figured we had walked a respectable distance and were ready to turn around, we could see, in the distance, what appeared to be more nude humans. We continued to walk. When we arrived, we found that we were right. There were more nude humans, only none of them were female. It took about 45 seconds and the sight of what appeared to be two men very fond of each other to realize what we had stumbled upon. It was a nude gay section of the beach. We forgot about being nonchalant and turned around and picked up our pace a bit. We slowed down again when we passed through our original find again.
Any Long Islanders remember this area?
We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Although there was one rather attractive woman in the hotel bar near the beach shooting topless pool. Amazingly she never knocked any of the balls out of place while lining up a shot.
