It is now Obi Won vs. McCain (bush jr.)
If Hillery joins with Obi they can give jr a run for the money. If Jr wins I bet it will be $7 a gallon of gas within 2 years.

I guess I'll vote for Bob Barr.
You may be right about the gas thing but we're screwed either way because the tax hikes under Obama would be insane. At least with higher gas prices, you're only getting ass-raped based on what you use. Tough call. As much as I hate McCain, I'd never in a million years even consider voting for Obama ... if I ever decided to vote for someone who associates with known racists, it would be a write-in for David Duke ... at least that would make some sort of sense.

I think I'll vote for Ralph Nader. I don't like him, but at least I'll feel like I did something about my disappiontment.
If not Ralph, then I will write in Snoopy.

It's a tough call. I wanted Hillary in the worst way (though not in the biblical sense!). I can't decide which of the contenders is worse. And I won't vote for Nader, simply because it would be a throw-away vote that would cost me time and gas money (which will probably be the $7 a gallon that philly is predicting by then)

I'm not happy with the choices, but if anything, having Obama as prez would piss off all the "Crackers"...

McCain sucks.
Obama, he screwed himself with his reverend. If this came out earlier in the year, he wouldn't be in the position he is now.
Motors, the tax hike thing, I don't see anyway around it. Bush's tax cuts didn't do much for America unless you were wealthy and with an invasion to pay for and a huge deficit, what choice does the next president have? Unless he wants to see the U.S implode. We can't keep borrowing money from China. The congress can just let Bush's tax cuts expire. Who knows, it should be interesting though.
It is b.s that these senators are running for president and they are going to fix everything, but they all sat on their asses and did nothing about any of this crap for the last 8 years. Who wants any of them as president?
It will be another year of voting against the candidate I don't want in office. [:(]

I could not agree more Marie! I have gotten into local politics in the past year and I can tell you it is all bullshit and business. I took on a certain policy change which many people were against. Finally the Mayor caved in.......in writing. He said ok I give in. Then he had some other department (watched over by his office) take on the role of bad guy and push the changes through anyway. Everyone was against it, they (we) threatened to vote against anyone for it. So they put it on to an agency that the people do not vote for. Done deal. Terrible policy and we can do nothing further to stop it. To make things worse....a local politician just sent out mailers to everyone saying he was against the changes and stopped them! They are still going through so it was a total lie. I called his office and they said it was a misprint. First hand I can tell you that politics are all about connections and deals and not about the people. I give up.

Ugh. I remember that feeling from last time ... not a good position to be in. This time, I can't bring myself to vote against just one of them because it's impossible to find a single redeeming quality in either of them. Even though voting for Bob Barr is a vote against both of them, it's really not helping or hurting either. It's almost enough to make me not even want to bother.

When I vote for Obama in November, it will be in an effort to keep Bush 2.0 out of office--not a vote of support.
I'm really disgusted right now. I wanted Hillary, too.

True! Also, disregard the hype about Bob Dole, too, empyrean. Not a factor this year
