I've noticed that the Nigerian offers of riches and delights have tapered off a lot in my inbox. Now, it's Russians who are offering me all sorts of monetary goodies. (And Canadians who really, really want to sell me some cheap Viagra!)

I should actually have my money any time, I am awaiting the wire right now, I am helping a wealthy guy with his inheritance. I initially thought it was a scam but he assured me it's not.

It's a scam?!

I'm waiting for that Costa Rican beachfront property to be offered to me again at a steal of a price.

The Nigerians are still at it. I managed a customer service department of a credit card fraud division for a major bank years ago. There scam of choice was fraudulent credit card applications back then. They actually have rings that scholl people in this back in Nigeria. The hotbeds back then were Houston, Washington D.C, and, to a limited extent, New York City back then.

Birdmadgirl...please excuse the Viagra solicitations from Canada. Eight6 was on vacation with little to do at the time.

Hey, eight6 is [i]always[/i] on vacation. Last scam mail I got was from this nice Russian woman whose furnace broke down or something. Anyway, if I sent her money to fix it, her daughter and grandmother wouldn't freeze. I replied "after the shit you caused our boys in 1972 you can go to hell", solving her problem, and mine.

I don't expect many to get it.
