Has Meyers latest film bombed that horribly? Maybe it hasn't been released yet, right?[V]

I see it had only pulled a little over 25 mill in ten days of release through this past weekend. At that pace it should be out on DVD by Labor Day.

What a train wreck (in India) that one is. Mike Myers is shaping up to be the next Steve Martin in terms of being a formerly clever and capable comic slumming it for cheap, stale, embarrassingly-bad laughs. I think even the abandoned Dieter/Sprockets feature would have been at least a partial success. Dana Carvey (Master of Disguise[xx(]) comes to mind too but at least Carvey redeemed himself a good deal in his latest HBO stand-up--that was actually pretty funny and better than I expected.

The commercials are awful, and those should be the hooks to go see the movie. He couldn't have been planning on it being a success...FFS the storyline involves the Leafs. It must be a plot on his part to top Face Off as the worst hockey related movie of all time.

The review here in the local paper said "it's not a bad movie. It's terrible"

[/quote]Maybe Myers can take over for Martin when he has decided he's thrown enough dirt on the grave of the Pink Panther franchise. I couldn't believe I saw a preview that he is doing another Panther movie, ugh.
