D-Backs catcher won't need surgery

Diamondbacks catcher Chris Snyder won’t need surgery after all.
Snyder, on the 15-day disabled list with a [i][b]left testicular fracture[/b][/i], visited a specialist on Wednesday and was told surgery wouldn’t be necessary.
Snyder was struck by a foul tip in the fourth inning of Monday night’s game.

He was placed on the DL on Tuesday and the expectation is he will be ready to return after the All-Star break, when the Diamondbacks resume play July 18.

Still can't figure out why they call it a fracture, does Torn Testicle or Ruptured Testicle sound to painfull?

Never had fractured balls, but after a good workout, definitely some foul balls........
..........then of course, there's been many a foul ball after slamming the louisville slugger into the wife's mitt. I'm beginning to think that's how the term 'smitten' "came" about......the mitt, the kitten............mmm....time for lunch, I think I'm having tuna.
