What have y'all seen thus far and what are your ratings (on a scale of 1 to 5) for each? Moi...

a) Iron Man (4.5/5.0); good balance of action, storyline, acting, VFX.

b) Hulk (3.6/5.0); seems more like a repeat of the original in many ways, altho admittedly I'm not a comic book aficionado so I may not know what I'm talking about. Nonetheless, the movie was fun and I'd recommend it.

c) Get Smart (3.2/5.0); funnier than I expected; enjoyed the character development.

d) WALL-E (4.8/5.0); I'd recommend this to everyone. It proves that innocence doesn't have to be boring. The animation, storyline, character development, comedy, etc., were all almost flawless, IMO. I have a minor problem with the human characters, as they looked too cartoony while the robots looked more photo-real (never mind that the humans were more like Casper-the-friendly-ghosts than like the real humans they were supposed to be descended from).

e) Narnia, Prince Caspian (4.0/5.0); overall good family entertainment, but I was little more engaged with the storyline of the first movie.

I'm looking forward to seeing Batman, Journey to the Center of the Earth, Tropic Thunder, and a few other whose titles escape me.

I tried getting tickets to TDK on the IMAX but all the tickets for opening week are sold out.[V] From what I heard, presale tickets for TDK is surpassing those of Spiderman 3, Pirates of the Carrabean 2 and Revenge of the Sith

Oh... a couple of other brief reviews:

f) Journey to the Center of the Earth (2.8/5.0); good clean fun. Not the summer's best, but worth a look.

g) Don't Mess with the Zohan (2.0/5.0); Not as good as I'd hoped. Some fun, impossible slapstick comedy, but the movie's vulgarity was too much. That and I personally had a problem with one or two of the ideological points Sandler was trying to make. But that is perhaps more subjective.

Ahh Batman. Yes, I plan on checking that out as well. Later in the year I am very psyched about the remake of "The Day the Earth Stood Still" and next spring, the next ST movie. I'd love to get in on some of the VFX work, but I'm not optimistic.

Don'r forget Watchmen coming out next spring, based on probably the best superhero-themed graphic novel ever written. IMO the film versions of Alan Moore's work has been hit or miss (my favorite is V for Vendetta), but the stills make this look like a possible home run.

Okay... saw Batman tonight and thought it was a pretty solid flick. I didn't blow my mind, but I wasn't expecting it to. I do think these new Batman flix however are vastly superior to the Tim Burton cartoons of the early 90s.

Saw some coming attractions tonight and the two that stood out for me were 1) Terminator: Salvation and 2) The Watchmen. The latter had some very bizarre imagery that I thought was interesting, and the former just looked to be so much more professional than the last dopey Terminator flick. Of course, that was only about a minute of footage, so who knows for sure?

The full Watchmen trailer just blew me away. May I suggest procuring the graphic novel and reading it several times before the movie hits. Alan Moore literally took the superhero genre into realms never even considered before that time and with tons of allegory, imagery, and pop culture references (the Police and Elvis Costello among them) infused into it. Great stuff.

Yeah I did love the Watchmen trailer although I still had that bad taste from the Batman & Robin song they used for the trailer. It did seem though that people seemed to snicker at the trailer for some reason. The Terminator trailer looked pretty good too but its being done by that McG guy who is a bane for movies [V]. Looking good this year and next year for geekdom films but mine wont be forfilled till they begin production on the Robotech film which was an elementary school obsession of mine

Yeah, McG tends to create cartoons, but isn't he currently directing the Sarah Connor Chronicles series? That show's pretty tense, much better IMO than the last dopey Term movie.

Get Smart-3.5 I'd say it was more an action movie than comedy.I was hoping for more comedy.

I checked the imdb database and it doesnt have any of the terminator episodes listed in his filmography. I despise McG alot if you have seen any of the Charlie's Angels movie you will know what Im talking about [V]. I dont know much about the Watchmen but the concept looks really out there.

The Charlie's Angels movies *were* cartoons and so was his dopey, 1-season episodic "Fast Lane". Geez man, I hope this isn't what he's going to bring to the T series. It'll be worse than the 3rd installment. The Terminator series will be like Aliens: 1st two movies were stellar, while the last two killed the series for me.
