Badmitton or badminton??????

ok it is a slow day but I never heard a person call the game badminton until today. They sounded like complete jerks but they were right. Doy, I will continue to call it badmitton.

LOL! You guys know I can be just a LITTLE extreme. Well this woman said she played badminton. I just stood there with my mouth open like "WHAT"? So much like a Seinfeld episode....it progressed very quickly into an argument.....thus the 6 question marks. Who the hell says badminton?

well ... in germany we simply call it "federball" , because it's played with a "shuttlecock" ! [;)]
once i've heard somebody call it "badminton" , i jus' thought "oh ... such an english snob !" [:D]

See that is exactly what I mean. It sounds very snobby! I could just imagine here in NY (especially Brooklyn) someone asking you to pass a shuttlecock. Pow! Right in the kisser!
