Where do you see yourself a year from now?

I see myself getting promoted at work as I feel like I damn well deserve it. [8D]

Honestly...it does not look very calm. My agency is going through a major state wide overhaul. The days of me being home by 1 pm are over I think. I am just going with the flow and not getting crazy about it. I may also be taking on tons more responsibility and work.
In my personal life I plan to finish paying off my cards and plan to go for another black belt. That should take up all my time and keep me honest. (this year I re-kindled some old friendships and I am very happy with that)

On the personal side, planning to do a 1/2 marathon next year...
On the work front...not sure...I'm at a cross roads and will be considering a possible change in scenery over the next 6 months...

How far in the marathon? I was thinking of one also but I would have to work super hard. Not sure if I am up to it.

<p align="justify">- I was passed up for a promotion at the agency this week, so I'm already looking for an exit strategy out of that cesspit of laziness and idiocy (it really irks me knowing candidates who are lesser than myself were called in for a second interview).
- The girl I currently fancy will be leaving the country, so I'm already looking for someone else.
- Since I will be alone and plotting to get the fuck out of what I currently do, I should have some money in the bank[}:)]

Keep shooting work that I like for my portfolio -- shooting more and more fashion work -- regardless of budgets, but I like jobs with budgets too.
Keep running on a regular basis.
I paid off my cc debt finally -- very happy about that and I plan to keep it paid off every month.
I started putting 15% into my IRA from every job... starting in Jan. 2007 and have not missed any "paying myself first" payments since I committed to it -- wish I would have done this plan from the time I started earning $ (about age 12), but it's tough to do when you are 21 and bullet proof, 40 something sounds so far away... now 60 something is not far away...

The economy is hurting the small dessert business that I`m in. When Restaurants business does poor, I feel the effects.

I`m not sure what will happen in a year from now.
After going through a crappy divorce almost two years ago, I think it`s a safe bet i`ll still be single in a year from now.
I do paranormal investigating on the side with an excellent group of people. We have gotten a bunch of awesome evidence with evps, pics, and video + great personal experiences. We have some big investigations coming up and I hope in a year from now that it really takes off. We would love to make it a full time job, so hopefully with all the hard work and dedication, something will hopefully open up in a year from now.
Thanks

Hopefully, this self-employment thing will work out and I'll still be doing that. I lost my job earlier this year and have spent that time drumming up business. It worked--I'm back to making the money we lost--but it's difficult sometimes. I need to prioritize better, and it's hard for me to let work go when it's in my face 24/7. But, a crappy day in my office sure beats a crappy day in someone else's office.
I finally have found some ways to occupy myself in this weird city, which is huge for me. It has taken nearly three years, but I'm reaching a Good Place. I like the phrase KYYX used about creating happiness. I'm working on it and am about there. Hope it sticks.

Still in school. (But closer to being done)
Still at my job. (But closer to leaving)
Still in my house (But closer to moving out to the country.)
Status quo isn't a bad thing.

hopefully, I'll be posting here a lot more often again [;)]
(I've been selfish and cheating on you guys with another music forum!)
In a year, I (hopefully) see myself:
1. jogging again
2. getting a portion of our attic finished off (*crosses fingers*)
3. paying off for said attic
4. doing a hell of lot more artwork for myself in said attic (painting/photography/whatever)
4. having more income to invest in...um, I don't know yet
5. traveling more?
