Well this is NNNW! I finally found out the name and band of this funk song that I heard on the boardwalk. Does anyone have it? Can you please send it to me?[:D] I will be ever so nice to you from now on if you do.

Isn't that "Dazz" by Brick you're thinking of? I think I might have that one but I'm trapped at work right now.

Thanks guys! But are you sure? I looked up on youtube and the song is under disco jazz-dazz band. And that is the song I heard. Is it the same?

Youtube is full of retards who don't know rabbit shit from cocoa puffs, so assume that is was mislabeled.
One of the former members of Brick was later a member of the Dazz Band, and they incorporated several of Brick's songs into their live sets. But what you want is the original Brick studio version, trust me. The Dazz Band didn't record a studio version, as far as I know.
