WTF with the weak Decathlon coverage?

This was a fucking travesty. NBC showed just about nothing of this signature Olympic event. Bryan Clay is only the second American since 1976 to win the title of "Greatest Athlete in the World", but all NBC can show is the last couple minutes of the 1500 meters? It's a travesty to not give this guy his due. Fucking pathetic. Enough with the fucking volleyball and diving. This has been the lamest, most lopsided coverage ever. And I could not be more sick of that gas bag midget Costas. For fucks sakes. [:(!][:(!][:(!]

Agreed! When Bruce Jenner won, we saw every throw, jump and step of his trek.
By the way, I passed Costas walking along Main Street in Cooperstown a few years ago. He really is tiny.
We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Nor did we get live coverage of this fantastic action...

...of the Cuban Taekwondo dude apparently having a little disagreement with the referee. Banned for life...but kinda LOL.

Great quote from this incident:
Matos angrily questioned the call, pushed a judge, then pushed and kicked referee Chakir Chelbat of Sweden. Matos then spat on the floor and was escorted out.
"He was too strict," Gonzalez said, referring to the decision to disqualify Matos. Afterward, he charged the match was fixed, accusing the Kazakhs of offering him money.
Hmmm, kick to the face of the referee means disqualified.... yup, too strict! Should have been a 1 point deduction.
