i would not vote for either one of them,both useless assholes.when will this country finally wake up and form,support and elect a 3rd party so we dont have to step into the booth close our eyes and press any button because you dont have a choice with only 2 political parties,its either one asshole or the other

Five Republicans on this board wow, I figured that number would be lower.

You'd be surprised how many there are.

Must be a few closet Republicans.

I can name a good ten people with more Republican slanted views but you don't hear them that much because (and I'm only conjecturing here)

#1 it's not in their nature to spout off

and / or

#2 even if it was in their nature to spout off, why bother if the party of their choice is already in office

and / or

#3 they're turned off by the immature and communally destructive talks that opposing party members around here love to espouse at any moment that they can even interjecting in seemingly non-politically related threads

and / or

#4 they couldn't care less about arguing with vague internet personalities attached to people they'll almost definitely never meet in person

and / or

#5 they keep it in perspective, have different priorities and / or remember that they're here more for the music.

Then again they could possibly be warding off any pedantic "and / or" usage [:p]

Or they're just surfing on their long board.

Sheesh, I forgot about that. I wasn't even thinking about much less including those people in my tally. OK, let me add this then:

Or they (the ones beyond my original count) were exiled from here for one reason or another.

That should include the lot of them. Every party is better off without them.

Scrap the whole voting system we use. Make each individual vote count. You scan your S.S. card if it's valid you can vote, if it's not your vote doesn't count. Plain and simple.

The election should be by the people not by the current administration. No more delegates, super delegates, electoral college.

Don't think for a minute that your individual vote counts.
"U.S. citizens cast votes for electors. Electors are technically free to vote for anyone eligible to be President..." therefore, your vote means squat.

Also, if a candidate has any monetary interests in oil, natural gas, coal etc...he or she can't seek office. If there's anyway a candidate can line his pockets through being involved in politics, then he or she shouldn't be able to run for office. Our country is far too corrupt to run efficiently.

My 2 cents.

I cast my NWO poll vote for the young inexperienced attractive person and the long time senator.

It was a tough call, but what pushed me over the edge was that they are pro-economy and pro-national security.

Of course, in the real election, I may change my mind and vote for the attractive young inexperienced person and the senator who has served for a long time.

One of the third party candidates: Bob Barr (Libertarian), Cynthia McKinney (Green), Ralph Nader (Independent), or Chuck Baldwin (Constitution). All four signed a position statement with Ron Paul agreeing to these four points:

1. Bring the troops home,
2. Protect privacy and civil liberties of all Americans (repeal the Patriot Act, Military Commissions Act, etc.)
3. Balance the budget, and
4. Investigate the Federal Reserve

That gets my vote. All other issues are secondary. The two "major" candidates represent a distinction without a difference. It really is just a charade, with no chance of real change.
