Ron Paul is a beautiful human being inside and out.
Look at how disgusting Bush/Cheney/McCain/Ghouliani look these days. I believe ones ugly actions manifests themselves in how one acts and then looks.
Palpatine and Vader's dis-figuration was the perfect metaphor for this.

I feel sorry for the beautiful Palin...Soon she will look ghastly when she sells her soul to these bloodsucking neo-cons PALINPATINE [}:)].

I couldn't agree more. I voted for him in the primary and sent him all the $$$ I could spare. I have to say I've never been so motivated or affected by any politician, or in his case "statesman". To this day I find it very odd that he won most if not all the online polls following the debates and yet received so few actual votes. If people really wanted genuine change, Ron Paul was the one to offer it. Nevertheless, the Revolution continues: http://www.campaignforliberty.com/

I just noticed a really cool feature! KYYX, designer femme, birdmadgirl, and a coupla other member's usernames are a lighter blue, while the more boring usernames are a darker blue. Has anyone else noticed that? We should go and tell mare idol and her hott boyfriend about this[}:)]

Given recent developments in the economy, it's worth posting a speech given by Ron Paul before the House from back in 2006. He had the foresight to see this mess coming. An excerpt:

"Denying us statistical information, manipulating interest rates, and artificially trying to keep gold prices in check won’t help in the long run. If the markets are fooled short term, it only means the adjustments will be much more dramatic later on. And in the meantime, other market imbalances develop.

The Fed tries to keep the consumer spending spree going, not through hard work and savings, but by creating artificial wealth in stock markets bubbles and housing bubbles. When these distortions run their course and are discovered, the corrections will be quite painful.

Fucking spot on, I'd say.

Neither McCain nor Obama saw it coming, and yet Ron Paul gets 5% of the vote. Here is the speech in its entirety:
