I was just paying some bills today and was curious how other people pay theirs.Myself ,I still pay by mail.I know,very old school.
In what manner do you pay your bills?

My water, sewer and electricity are on one bill that is paid 4 blocks from my house. My rent is paid about 8 blocks from my house. My cable company is about a mile from me and the phone and gas bills are on line. So the majority of my stuff gets paid by me personally. I have no other bills, no loans, no credit cards no nothing. I use a debit card and cash. I have a checking account that is used once a month for rent and that's it. I am so under the radar (from most people) that I'm almost invisible. Oh yeah, I have 2 grocery stores within walking distance but I drive there because it's hard to carry a dozen bags and walk....and I live 8/10 of a mile from where I work. I have a 200 Mercury Grand Mal Seizure that I put about 30 bucks of gas in it a month.

Auto Pay from Bank Account everything but Visa. [:)]

I pay everything online except my rent payment. I have to drive way, way across town once a month to pay for that, which irritates me to no end.

I too pay all my bills on line except for my rent, and to pay that all I do is walk down stairs and slip my check under my landlords door!

Half my (very few) bills are paid by old fashioned check & mail, while a couple others are automatic payment. There are some that I like to look at [i]personally[/i] before I pay them.

I pay everything but my life insurance by mail.

Almost everything gets paid through the bank's Billpay -- it's free and you just schedule the day you want the payment there, very easy to do.

Sometimes I pay my photo assistants through Billpay and the bank mails the check so it doesn't even cost me to write the check or mail it.

Everything online.

I pay via phone, web or check. It all depends on how close I am to the due date. I'm not entirely anxious to move us ever close to a cashless society (which seems to be the way this is all going) and I do not have complete confidence in the current system of online payments.

I have some bills that are automatic withdrawal and the rest I pay online.

A mixture, really. I pay the rent and utilities in person and the main ones are either online, in the bank or on the phone.
