A very sad day indeed.I had lunch with him when I was 14 years old when he raced at Road Atlanta.I was taking pictures of his 280z when he came out to my shocking surprise and instructed me on using the camera. He then proceeded to invite me and the guy who was like a big brother to me that worked at Road Atlanta to have lunch with him and his crew.
He was a very down to earth and genuinely nice person.I'll always have those memories from 1979.May he rest in peace ! Another great Hollywood legend gone but not forgotton.

Bowiestation, to quote Monty Python..."you lucky, lucky bastard". Great memory to have of a great person.
Life's what you make it.

Very cool, bowiestation!
He was truly a classic. The Sting, Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and The Hustler are still among my favorite movies of all time.
We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

It's time to watch "Slapshot", "Fatman and Little Boy",and "Long Hot Summer" again just to name a few.

Butch Cassidy I can watch over and over and over again. It was the "Star Wars" of westerns and Newman's nuanced performance humanized the outlaw stereotype like none other befor or since. Truly one of the greats.

He made a great movie later in his career called "Nobody's Fool." One of my all time fave films. He was a great actor and "Newman's Own" was a fantastic idea.
