So I'm on the 13 week of trying to get an address verification from the Post office so Child Support can alert my ex that she is 8 months behind on payments (I'm pretty sure that she is aware). I physically got the address from her residence and gave it to Child Support along with her phone number and they in turn contacted the post office for verification but the post office hasn't responded yet. So Child Support says that their hands are tied at this point, there's nothing they can do until the Post Office replies.

Frustrating isn't it? I offered to drive an investigator to her house to knock on the door but they're not interested. I got her Federal and State Income Tax refunds (hey X...thanks for the HDTV)...and from what I heard, her stimulus check is on hold for 190 days just in case she tries to appeal it then it comes to me.

Oh well....I guess I'll step up the calls to Child Support until somebody gets pissed and something gets done. Is this typical for everyone collecting payments or is Ohio really bad at collecting?

To me it just sounds systemic of a system, no matter what state you live in. iknow in California, if you don't ay they suspend your driver's license, and eventually garnish your paycheck, once they "find" you...
