Now that we've had some time to fully digest the character and qualifications of Sarah Palin I thought I'd try a poll. How does her inclusion into the GOP ticket affect your decision in November?

Full Disclosure: My personal opinion is that any possible chance there was of me voting for McCain went out the door with her inclusion. In addition to being a crypto-theocrat fundamentalist, based on her public appearences she appears to have the IQ of a frisbee. The thought of her having access to the nuclear launch codes is actually a bit frightening to me. Especially since she can't seem to pronounce the word "nuclear".

<p align="justify">She's an idiot; dumber than bush. My family voted for Ron Paul on the primaries[}:)] We'll probably vote for Bob Barr or write in the candidates from the Constitution Party[}:)] Local and state elections are another thing.

I wouldn't have voted for the GOP ticket, anyway.

Just last night, in a convo with some friends, one who is a conservative stated that he was horrified by her selection, and that as a result, he cannot vote for the GOP ticket. He's still on the fence between Barr and Obama. On one of the political blogs I like, I just was reading a Republican voter's strong passionate defense of her and how she strengthens the GOP ticket, cementing in that person's mind to vote for McCain/ Palin even more. (*shudders at that one, but hey...to each their own*).

In general, I have come across more people who are embarrassed/ horrified/ anti against Palin, and that has "sealed the deal" for them NOT to vote Repub. (if they were on the fence about it to begin with). I guess it depends on how they were going to vote anyway, you know ?

My strong guess is that those who are voting for Sarah Palin are not using their brains...They are using that other organ to influence their vote [:p] such a limp excuse[|)].

I am not committed to either party, although without a doubt this time around, regardless of the GOP VP pick, I would have not voted for any GOP ticket. McCain will never get my vote. Many presidents came into office with little or no experience, and distinguished themselves by leading our country through difficult times, making us a better, stronger, greater nation. This is what I believe Obama can and will do. Just my personal view.
