My son's Zune died also. I'm not a Microsoft fan but I hate Apple even more. I bought an iPod 2 years ago, used it for a month and gave it to my daughter who used it for awhile then put in in a drawer somewhere. iTunes sucks. From looking at my son's Zune...even though it crashed, I still would by a Zune over the iPod.

Oh yeah....my friend Makel bought an iPod for his wife last Christmas, she opened it up, used it for 2 days and put it back in the box. She also hates iTunes. iThink iPod sucks.

> She also hates iTunes.

There's alternatives for getting your music onto an Ipod other than Itunes, such as Winamp + plugin. Better yet would be to install the Rockbox firmware and load up with FLAC files :-D.

Did your Zune boot up today?

Absolutely not...I think Mac/Apple® products are some of the best in US history. iTunes is a great, user friendly app.

I've been using Apple products since 1986.

I find people that 'hate' Mac products are usually PC users who have not been converted. once they do, you usually dont hear a peep from them.

I'm a PC user with an iphone (love it!), ipods (many - but unusued now with my iphone) and I think itunes is fantastic, it's chimp-friendly, easy to use and I am baffled by people who are so vehemently opposed to it, usually without any real reasons. It's not perfect but it's the best IMHO.

I still hate iTunes (and iPods)....so there. [:D]

Had an Apple computer way back when, switched to a PC and have been happy ever since. What about the whole iTunes increase thing. That doesn't bother you guys?

LOL[:D]

Funny, they announce a huge Decrease in pricing on most tracks, an increase on the newest stuff and you see the INCREASE. Like I said in another thread, it just means I have to pay more for my Panic At the Disco, Fall out Boy and Lil' Wayne tracks!!![:(][;)]

^^^what increase? I just checked --songs are still .99¢...did they increase for the purchase of the app? (do you have to purchase the app on a PC? I truly dont know...
I'm not trying to be a blind mac supporter....I really like their products....the only other product I support so vehemently is Aquafresh® 'Extreme Clean'®....

I just got a iTunes® giftcard ($25) I dont even know what to 'buy' as I mostly ahem 'trade' tracks on Limewire®

What about the whole bad neighbor and ex-wife thing? None of that may have happened with an Apple, and you could have been much happier.

No. I pirate any music I don't buy as a physical copy. [}:)]

They changed their prices to .69, .99 and $1.29 and removed the DRM (which is a nother huge positive by the way that must have been overlooked!)

I love irritating Apple users. I just didn't have a good experience with the iPod or iTunes.

You like Apple then good for you. I'm happy with my PC and Zune so good for me.

There, we're all happy...and true about the x and hillbilly neighbors but I wouldn't have traded my past for anything. I have 2 wonderful kids out of the deal.

They removed the DRM, but is it true that the files are tagged so that they can find out where pirated files originated from? That kinda spooks me, but know 100% if it's true.
