Random Question thread

I thought this might be kind of cool...ask a random question and get it answered, then follow up with a random question of your own.
I had the most random thought yesterday. Al Green was supposed to have made music that was considered "sensual" or "sexy" primo make out music. Is this true ? Not having heard his music (well, other than what may have been played on the radio, and not necessarily indicative of his overall sexy style), I have no idea. If I were to download and burn a CD-R, what would you guys recommend for some sexy moods ?
Thanks in advance--I look forward to your responses, and then you get to ask another random question.[:X]

I could come up with some funny stuff here, but I'm gunna 'Shoot straight on this one (pardon the pun...)
...there are two albums which have always been 'lucky' for me:
Everything But The Girl "Idlewild"
and
Cocteau Twins "Heaven Or Las Vegas"
...go forth and multiply

It's hard to go wrong with the tracks on Al Green's "Greatest Hits" album, especially tunes like 'Let's Stay Together' and 'I'm Still In Love With You'.
You might also want to check Groove Armada's "Back to Mine" release, which has one Al Green track and some other great make out music on it, like Barry White's 'Playing Your Game'.
I'll have to come back later with a random question...

I'll answer YES, it is true to KYYX's initial question just so I can selfishly ask a question that's been bugging me for sometime and I'm too lazy to look into it:
On the iphone commercials, the iphone rings at the end and someones name appears on the phone. Is this a way of rewarding employees (my guess) or just simply made up names???

Call Me (Come Back Home)
Here I Am (Come And Take Me)
Tired Of Being Alone
Love And Happiness
Let's Stay Together
I've Never Found a Girl (Who Loves Me Like You Do)

A: They come from a variety of sources with subtle and not-so-sublte references. For example:
"Anne Haro refers to a kid named Mitchell Henerson who allegedly killed himself after losing an iPod. Mourners left messages on his myspace calling him “an hero”; ignorant to grammatical rules. As things go, internet goons found out about it became a joke on some of the darker sides of the net and often times suicide is assoiated with iPods and becoming “an hero”. I guess someone at Apple knows the joke."
"John Appleseed is the man who introduced the apple fruit to large parts of Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. He a legendary figure and a very clever name to use in a commercial for apple."
Q: Who's responsible for this fucking Gaza mess?

Well, Ms. Haro in Accounting is probably none too pleased with your explanation. And I always knew Mr. Appleseed as Johnny.

A: Currently everyone who put Obama in office. Israel is getting their last shots in while they still have the U.S. squarely in their corner.
Q: Is anyone else creeped out by the Sham Wow commerical pitch guy?

I have a random question.
What is the correct response when your new 52 year old American male CEO asks to borrow your tube of chapstick?
This really happened to me last week.

I guess you hand it to him and tell him to keep it.
My question: Are my children the only "kids in America" who don't have their own cell phones and cannot text their friends? (I have an extra cell that two of my children share when they need it and it's nothing fancy)

Yes. I believe that borders on child abuse[:D]
Am I the only one who would like to punch Brent Musberger in the face?

I am sorry I cannot answer your question, coop.
But I have another question. Do rechargeable batteries, such as the type for a digital camera, eventually lose their potency with continued recharging ? My digital camera's batteries run out waaaay too frequently, even thought they had just been charged up.
p.s. thanks for your Al Green responses, you guys.[:X]

What would you have done if your new 52 year old male CEO was Canadian?
We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

No, but that doesn't even come close to my reaction to NBC's absolutely ridiculous Sunday night football hosts...
Dan Patrick
Keith Olbermann
Bob Costas
Chris Collinsworth
I either want to drop a nuclear bomb on them or just seal the room so they suck all the air out and suffocate. That let may happen regardless.
I guess then my question is "Who the fuck assembled this asinine collection of gasbags?!
