Wasn't sure where to post this, but I figure Lily Allen is "not necessarily new wave", so ...

The new Lily Allen album "It's Not Me, It's You" came out today and is available for download on amazon.com for $3.99. Love her or hate her, you can't argue with that price! I'd always rather have the CD but for $4 it's a steal. You could pay $6 more at iTunes and get an extra song (an acoustic version of The Fear) but I figure that's for true fans only.

It's all good Blir! I just thought at least ONE person would say "hey, thanks for that, I almost dropped $10 on the CD at BB" or something. I figure Lily Allen isn't exactly high art but she puts out fun music - kinda like new wave is, no? From what I read she's cleaned up her personal life a lot too (pretty admirable for someone so young).

At any rate, no matter who the artist is, I like seeing a new album for $4 at Amazon. Nice trend!

Yeah, Amazon's got some great deals. Free stuff, even.

And you haven't really made an impression on Blir until he responds to your post with the C word!
