It's been in the news a lot, so not a big deal to repeat it here. But what I liked best was this line:
"At the time of the shootings, the fourth pirate was aboard the USS Bainbridge negotiating with officials, the source said."
Don't you hate it when you're a pirate, you're sitting on a Navy warship, and your negotiating leverage goes poof? "Tell me what you want again...bitch?" [:D]

When you have multi billion dollar ships going around getting attacked, don't you think it would cost less money to hire armed merchant marines for the ships instead of paying a teenager millions in ransom? Doy!

That is what I was thinking, Put a few armed escorts on the ships.
