You lucky bastards. I always have to pay (after those 1st few--ironically--poor college student/ Peace Corps years of lovely refunds !). This past year, both my husband and I increased our withholding a little bit per paycheck (we're already at 0 exemptions), which lessened the sting at tax time. Ugh.[xx(]

I filed back in February. Already plowed through my refund. [:D]

Speaking of my refund, I used to get a pretty nice one due to my passel of kids. This year, however, I didn't get so much because I got creamed for being self employed. [:(]

I get back a lot more. But being married with a house and 2 kids gives me deductions. And being married makes sure I never see the money.

Take it from someone whose marriage just went bust -- you're broke then, too. I have no idea how all this will affect me next year. I'll probably be completely screwed because I'll be single *and* self-employed. Maybe I can offer the IRS my firstborn or something...
