Shades of the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail. "Come back here and take what's coming to you. I'll bite your legs off."[:D]

I mostly feel bad for the guy fighting him. If he thrashes him ... so what. He beat a cripple. But if he loses, his career is over and he's a laughing stock.

The whole thing reminds me of a keg party I was at once. This drunken idiot named Earl got in an argument with my friend Stan (in a wheelchair because of a drunk driver). Stan wasn't exactly a small guy before the accident and after it, he spent a good portion of his time lifting weights to keep his upper body strong. Anyway, after repeated unheeded warnings to Earl to get out of his face, Stan grabbed his shirt with one hand and punched him in the face a few times and let go. Earl fell to the floor, myself and a coouple of other guys threw him out into a snowbank, and the party went on. It was one of the funniest things I've ever seen. [:D]

Maybe he can line up a match with Wee Man from Jackass next.

Same guy up against the wall?
Art.

We didn't sell a lot of records, but somehow we left an impression.

Is it just me or was this not a fair fight. I mean, the guy's got no hands. How is he supposed to tap out? Then again, I guess he's got an advantage. Kind of hard to sink in an armbar or a heel hook on a fighter with no arms or heels.

I look forward to seeing Kyle grow in his future bouts. This stop, Brian Fry. Next stop, Fedor!

More fair than calling it hand to hand combat.

I can't believe it went to decision. I had money riding on Fry first round via picking up and launching over the octagon.

The rule outlawing dwarf tossing, enacted just last year, wound up covering this guy. Who knew?

Do we think it really would have made a difference if he could have punched with his stumps? I really can't imagine enough (relative) force being generated with an arm with no elbow joint to do any real damage.. and how can you complete most choke holds etc effectively with no grip?

I admire his courage. I am gald he got the opportunity to try at that level, but it just seems a bit like someone with no head entering an apple-bobbing contest.

Yeah, who needs limitations, right? Thank you, Kyle Maynard, for touching my heart with your admirable courage. You've helped me see the light that I never should have given up my dream of becoming a jockey -- even though I'm 6 foot something and 200 and many pounds. Who cares if my bulky body breaks the back of a horse or two? I am INSPIRING and COURAGEOUS!
