It's not WTF at all. It acts much like other popular post-steroid cycle recovery therapies like 6-OXO. After using steroids, your natural testosterone production drops to nothing. To get it back so your body doesn't catabolize and waste all the build-up, lots of people take things like CGH and 6-OXO to recover natural testosterone build-up faster. CGH is partly a follicle stimulating hormone, inducing the body's natural hormone production, including testosterone, which subsequently gets converted to estradiol...thus the fertility application. 6-OXO is often used in conjunction since it blocks testosterone conversion to estradiol, telling the body to produce even more testosterone, thinking it will get converted to estradiol.

The short of it is that a male athlete getting caught with CGH is an absolute sure sign that he's majorly juicing.

I think one look at my 40-something flab would negate any need for testing. I'll just bet you though that you take any overly-cut and bulked-up dude, whether it's a Long Island suburban dad or young broker jock in the City, and he'll know all about OXO and HCG, either from his own use or from friends playing with it (how I heard about it going back a couple of years). It's common to hear talk about this stuff making Creatine look like Flintstones Vitamins.

PS. There's a certain ironic symmetry in Arod coming back today.
