The story that refuses to die....?

...I sit at work surrounded by 24 hr TV news channels and it seems like the Miss California/Gay Marriage/Naughty Photos story is in constant rotation on these braindead networks. Apart from surely being the most insignificant "news" item of the year, I must admit that, as a guy, I do enjoy watching that 20 second clip of her in that tiny white bikini strutting her ass over and over and over again.[;)]
Any other news stories out there that are past their expiration date?

The funniest part of the story is Shanna Moakler who resigned her position at the Miss California organization. She had a shit fit about the naughty photos, meanwhile she herself splashed her bush all over Playboy years ago.

Yeah, evidently she feels the pageant has been tarnished. As if there was some sort of integrity behind prancing around in a bikini and high heels.....

This is a funny quote from Moakler: "I want to be a role model for young women with high hopes of pageantry".[:D]

When what she meant to say was "I want to be a role model for young women with high hopes of pageantry..but only those young women with great asses who don't mind showing it in a national spread"

I am curious, does anyone even watch these pageants anymore? I haven't seen a beauty pageant since I was a kid.

I can't imagine anyone watching them other than irresponsible parents grooming their poor children to be future arm candy and lonely old men too poor to afford a subscription to Penthouse.
