Oh wow, I would have dished out $50. Darn! Does this happen often?

If it's the $50(appears so), it got one bad review on retrothing.com. Heard it was cheaply made, having a rubber band for a drive belt.

‹‹BUMP››

They're doing the sale again if anyone's interested. One day only or until they run out. I bought mine last month when they had the first sale. I can't say I've used it yet but at that price it's hard to go wrong. If I get even ten uses out of it, I'll say I more than broke even. Bigger benefit: I get to listen to music I haven't listened to in decades.

Some buyers on that site recommended against it, but at that price, I took one.

Does anyone here have comments on the Ion? My first rip went well, but now my laptop doesn't recognize the usb port. I suspect the problem may be my o/s (Vista).
