Anyone else as hooked on this show as I am? Since it came on last year it was an immediate favorite of mine but I've noticed its been sadly unmentioned in these parts. Thoughts anyone?
And if you are a fan...glad to see Lafayette is still with us and...what the hell is the thing with the horns?????

I've been watching it since the first episode. It took a few weeks to grow on me but I stuck with it because of Alan Ball. Glad I did. This season's looking pretty promising ... Jason at jesus camp, that horned thing (I know. WTF?), Jessica ... I was kind of hoping Lafayette was going to become a vampire but oh well.

I watched the first few episodes and I never took to it. I tried. I think I'll have to give it another chance. So many people I know say how great it is.

Just caught up on all the seasons on HBOGo. It really isnt my taste although season 2 was decent enough. You can almost have a drinking game with the amount of times Compton says "You leave Sookie alone" and seethes his fangs. I'll probably keep HBO subscribed to rewatch on GO episodes of Carnivale, Deadwood and Rome and then rescribe it in time for Boardwalk Empire and later on Game of Thrones. I havent really see The Wire so I may give that a shot

Bill Compton has gotta be the worst pussy of a vampire ever. I can't stand his character. He's so wimpy and whiny. What Sookie sees in him I have no idea. Eric is much cooler.

This season is really refreshing because they have totally shifted away from the Sookie/Bill relationship. However, now the show has become more about people who turn into one kind of animal or another more than about vampires....

This season is an improvement over last year--thought it would--suck--after the first really lame episode of the season--but its moving along nicely now.
