This is one hell of a name for a vessel filled with seamen!

I'm having a tough time swallowing this...pic looks doctored.

I do think it is real. One of the Evergreen Line (out of Taiwan) ships that calls at Vancouver is the "Ever Uranus". It was just here. I think most of the Asian shipping lines have a ship named "Uranus".

Perhaps you are right. I see that it's run by one Captain Ned, a very manful person who proclaims to run a manly ship, teaches his crew of manly things, instilling manhood and manliness in each of them, alternately punishing and comforting his men as needed.
