Another person with questionable ties that has the president's ear.

Is there something specific you want to raise about Van Jones, or is this just a generic public service message? At least provide the standard link to a WorldNetDaily "article" or some recent batshit Glen Beck diatribe on Youtube.

None of this matters. It's a well known fact that there's a secret society of the five wealthiest people in the world, known as "The Pentavirate", who run everything in the world, including the newspapers, and meet tri-annually at a secret country mansion in Colorado, known as..."The Meadows."

Nothing specific just questionable ties......

Assassinating the prez or govt officials could lead to a long-term breakdown of our government and sew the seeds of a civil war. Say goodbye to our envied representational democracy, the shining city on a hill and the rest of our mythology. And all because the extremist factions, religious nuts and ideological crybabies couldn't cope with a democrat in the white house. A good blood-letting will do wonders to cure a sick nation.

Overreact much? They'd have a funeral, make a huge deal out of it, deify the incompetent scumbag and we'd probably get a new federal holiday. There would be riots but the animals would be quickly squashed. Then it's right back to business as usual ... except better. Big deal. Sometimes you need to tear a few things down before you can repair things. It would be like the John Lennon "assassination" ... the only negative would be having to hear about it constantly for a few weeks.

If a Democratic politician is assassinated-- especially the president-- that would create an atmosphere of intimidation. Democrats could be marked just like abortion doctors. It would have a serious impact on all Democrats and moderates in terms of campaigning, making public appearances, caucusing as a political party, etc. That is not a functioning democracy-- it's what we chastise our foes for doing.

Killing a president or any political official for ideological reasons and armed intimidation is the antithesis of democracy. It is certainly not a step toward "repairing" anything. Read up on the Weimar Republic for some insight on the evolution of one-party rule.

Who are you (or the government)to tell me that anything I choose to spend it on is "useless crap I don't need". The only "useless crap I don't need" is all the trash I am FORCED to subsidize through all of your beloved handouts. A group which it is becoming more and more apparent that you are a part of.
