Just wondering if anyone has seen this movie? I caught it the other night--what a fucked up movie--in a strange way actually gave me the creeps. After the fact I looked up reviews on it--half the world thinks its fantastic-half the world thinks its crap. I personally liked it but felt exhausted after watching it. Predictable in some ways-unpredictable in others. (running on Cinemax this past week if your interested )

<p align="justify">Was it the original Funny Games or the remake? Either way, both were directed by Michael Haneke - and almost every one of his movies leave you feeling that way. Check out La Pianiste, Benny's Video, and Der Siebente Kontinent. His movies have a very sharp and crisp cinematography. I'm in the camp of those who love his movies[}:)]

I only saw the original (german) Funny Games, and yeah, it was pretty disturbing. Definitely a film you don't forget quickly.

This was the remake--I've read the original was better-however--I thought his remake was very well done.

The original is far better than the American one.

Back to this for a minute--I still have not seen the original yet, but to those who have ..a question. I've read the remake was basically almost a frame by frame exact copy, even the same sets--only difference was the English speaking cast. If so--how much better could the original be? I thought the cast in the remake were great.
