7 years ago today we lost the single biggest influence my life has ever known...

On this date each year I'm sad, yet thankful for the opportunity to have lived during the same era as he did, and even more thankful that once upon a time, in a beaten up theater in Harlem, we stood and shared a beer and talked and laughed for 45 minutes...and I also make sure I say thanks...

Thanks Joe, nobody will ever replace you, and hopefully someday we can have another beer and laugh again...and your legacy lives on...
