That was a cool look back- never seen that U2 vid before.
However, giving Bono a guitar is kind of like giving a fish a bicycle... or Olivia Newton John a drum kit.

TOTP was famous for having lip-synching. If not that, then just playing the track and having the band mime the performance and singer sing on top of the track, something Nirvana made fun of when they appeared on the show in 1992:
