Congressman Joe Wilson was correct

Barry you are a liar. Eight separate occasions he promised the health care bill debate would be broadcast on C-SPAN. And I don't care what Republicans have done in the past. This is about what he promised, nothing more.

+1 Enz. You're right about this. (Well, not about Joe Wilson's statement, but...) Obama did pledge an open process, and it looks like he won't be following through on the C-SPAN coverage in particular. Lots of negotiations took place in private, which is business as usual in Washington. There are more substantive broken promises that I'm concerned about, but nonetheless, if the president makes a promise he can't or won't keep, he needs to be held accountable for it.
