Bugger.. been looking forward to the next Bond installment. These newer ones with Daniel Craig are the best Bond Films ever imho.

This is eerily similar to 1989 when MGM bought out the struggling United Artists who owned the Bond franchise at the time. Timothy Dalton had made two films that returned Bond to his darker roots (1987's "The Living Daylights" and 1989's "License To Kill") but with the ensuing legal hurdles after the buyout, the Bond films went on hiatus for 6 years leaving Dalton to twiddle his thumbs and take other parts. By 1995 he felt he was too old for the role and bowed out when they offered him "Goldeneye".
I like Craig's take on the role although Sean Connery IS James Bond as far as I'm concerned. Connery, Dalton and Craig are usually the top contenders for "favorite Bond actor" among hardcore 007 fans.
