Boxing

It has been officially dead for a while but last night was the final nail in the coffin for me. I have been a huge boxing fan all my life but there is just no one worth watching. Mayweather vs. Mosely was so boring, an Olympic-style boxer throwing point-scoring punches with no real danger of knocking anyone out. I'm not old-school boxing guy who doesn't like MMA, I like MMA a lot, but unless Mike Tyson comes out of retirement to fight a Grizzly Bear, boxing is a joke with no future.

[/quote]Agreed. Boxing is a snoozer. [|)] I think Pacquiao is a great boxer, but I don't think Mayweather is up to that level of challenge.

The Carl Froch vs. Mikkel Kessler fight last week was awesome but Ireally haven't seen many other good fights lately. Last weekend, I also watched Tomasz Adamek beat Cristobal Arreola by majority decision and the best part of that fight was Arreola's classic post-fight in ring interview. Did anyone else see that? [:D]

I saw it, hilarious! It was actually a good fight. The undercard fight was really good last night, a 19 year old red-headed Mexican fighter named Alavarez beat Cotto's brother.

Here's one interview but the HBO one was great!

Yeah, I missed the one last night but it pretty much played out exactly as I expected it to. I probably should have gotten it anyway. A red-headed Mexican, huh? That's something you don't see every day.
