Black Sabbath. This is a really cool site! You type in any two musical acts and it will try to connect them. It doesn't have some of the more obscure acts and I have managed to stump it totally a few times ... but what seems harder than stumping it is building a chain with a lot of steps. So far my longest is ABBA to Flux Of Pink Indians, which can be done in 22 steps. [:D]

It matched psych/garage artist Roky Erickson to Diana Ross in 10 steps, through the unlikely nexus of Romeo Void!! Crazy.

Yes, but it also took 12 steps to match Lynyrd Skynyrd and Burning Airlines. I could have done it in 1 step.

Hmm...fun site but I'd be wary of the information it uses. John Cowsill was never a member of The Beach Boys in any way, shape or form but this stupid thing keeps telling me he was. Umm....no. He wasn't.

Ugghh...The Beach Boys have toured with an army of random sidemen since the 70's, if this site is viewing various touring sidemen as actual members of the Beach Boys then they might as well list over 100 members by now. That list is practically endless. Jeff Fosket, Ed Carter, Adrian Baker, Mike Kowalski..even John Stamos!

Then again, I don't view Mike and Bruce and a battalion of sidemen touring as "The Beach Boys" to be the actual Beach Boys at this point. Those guys really just need to give it up. Most fans just go see Brian and his band at this point.
