Great actor. Especially liked his character in Flashback with Kiefer Sutherland.

3 top Dennis Hopper performances IMHO.

1. Blue Velvet - Nuff said.

2. Tracks - Little known movie from the early 70's where Hopper plays a Vietnam vet having hallucinations on a train. Really disturbing and fucking incredible!

3. Carried Away - Filmed sometime in the 90's. Hopper plays a middle aged teacher having an affair with a student. Brilliantly subtle performance.

[V] Sad day.

What about this from True Romance? Walken and Hopper together = AMAZING.
