The iconic Hammer Flims' leading lady died yesterday age 73. Pitt was probably the best loved horror queen of British Cinema. She also appeared in some b movies alongside the likes of Clint Eastwood. Who could forget camp horror films like The Vampire Lovers,Countess Dracula and The House That Dripped Blood ?

She was smokin back in the day. Very much a "Mad Men" look in some of her pub shots. RIP.

Yeah she was a babe. Not _only_ as a result of that - I used to enjoy all those old Hammer / Vampire movies!
