I am a lucky NYC resident; no flooding, loss of power, phone etc where I am.
Many others have lost much[:(]

That bitch Sandy took my power. Won't have it back until the 11th. Still...very lucky compared to some in town.

Just got power back last night. I am very grateful. My neighbors 40 foot pine tree fell in my front yard but did no real damage. The gas situation is a bit scary. Otherwise all is well.
