I'm a big fan of new wave music for a long time. It started in the 80's when I was about 15 years old. Much later I started making music myself a bit, influenced by new wave and darkwave music. Between 2000 and 2003 I recorded some tracks, but they were never released. Then last year I started my own shop in the new wave/post-punk genre (www.soundsforsure.eu) and by the end of the year I came to the idea to just release the tracks I recorded on an album and I used Sounds for Sure as a label. So this project that I did years ago finally ended up in a cd. Well, for me it was like a dream come true to finally have an album released even though I had only 300 cd’s made.
