I like 'em too. You're not alone here on that. There's a thread on Morningwood in the Concerts forum.

I played "Jetsetter" last summer on my show. They seem to be getting juice out of "Nth Degree" now. Incredible video!

I'm going to see them in 4 hours, opeing for The Sounds. I'll report back later. I can almost guarantee that at 38 I'll be the oldest person there, including the staff of the club!

Well, I really wanted to dislike Morningwood. First off I think its one of the worst names for a band I've heard since Isopropyl Cheese Piston or Poopshovel. Regardless, they put on a high-energy, fun show. Great stage presence, solid playing, and not a shred of attitude.
Their hit "To The Nth Degree" was not translated well to the live stage, the vocals were kind of shaky, but that song is the black sheep in thier set.
The Sounds were top notch, and I have not one criticism.
The only thing I really didn't like was the crowd, mostly 18-24 year old suburbanites who didn't really know how to act at a "big rock concert in the city".

Yeah, they don't make kids like they used to.

I'm late to the party, but I like 'em. They remind me of Divinyls. Though I gotta say that spelling out the band's name in the epitome of dumb lyrics.

Y'know, that almost entirely turned me off on them. I kinda like "Jetsetter", though.
